Motivation:

I'm excited to be part of my third PA IPL bike ride with this year's ride. I have a strong belief that faith communities can play an important role in the important work we need to do around healing the planet through just actions around climate change. The bike ride aligns with some of my core Jewish environmental values as well. It reminds us that we are each obligated to take on the work of tikkun olam (repair of the planet) even that we may not complete the work. And, the ride also helps me to remember that the advocacy work we do is "Le-dor Va-dor" on behalf of future generations. Finally, I appreciate how the ride is a means to help us connect to people of all faith backgrounds around our shared concern for the planet. Thank you for your interest and support of the ride and PA IPL's good work!
